In addition to making her own pottery, Cynthia also offers pottery classes and is grateful for the almost 1000 students of all ages and abilities that have found their way to share the warm and bright pottery studio. Pottery classes are offered year-round to adults and children (seven and up) of all skill levels. Classes are held in a fun, relaxed environment. Laughing and breathing encouraged! Students work at their own pace with an instructor available for guidance as needed. Classes include: learning to use the wheel and handbuilding (i.e. making pinch pots, slab pieces and coil pots). Classes are small (seven to eight students) with a focus on individualized attention. One wheel per student is guaranteed.

Once enrolled in a class, all students past and present may take advantage of the Open Studio Program. This program is designed for those who want to practice in between classes and have some independent studio time.
There are three ways to do this:
1. Hourly Open Studio Rate - $9.00 per hour.
2. Unlimited Open Studio Time When Enrolled in a Class. At the time you sign up for a session of classes, you have the option of adding $115.00 for an eight week session for unlimited open studio time.
3. Independent Study. For those that have taken at least one session of classes and would rather work independently and not in a class environment, there is the option to do the Independent Study. The cost is $250.00 for an eight week session.
Open Studio and Independent Study Hours:
Mondays - 12:00 noon to 9:00 pm.
